Toast is looking for a ​Quality Assurance Engineer to join its FinTech Integrated Payments team that enables our International customers Enterprise integrations.</p> <p>You will enable restaurants by playing a critical role in testing features in this domain.The Toast platform processes tens of millions of requests per day, and this number grows constantly as we add new locations , integrations , partners to our ecosystem and expand to new geographies. You will be one of the impactful technologists , accountable for Fintech business growth in the International and Enterprise integration team. This is a mission-critical system on which our restaurants rely for their livelihood, so Quality , Reliability and Scalability are paramount.</p> <p><strong>About this </strong><strong><em>roll</em></strong><strong>*:</strong></p> <p>As a QA-II on our team, you will be:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborating with Product , Design(UI) and Development stakeholders to understand the requirements.</li> <li>Creating and implementing comprehensive test plans.</li> <li>Conducting and participating in test plan and test strategy reviews.</li> <li>Testing new features and regressions across our suite of hardware and software products. </li> <li>Create defects for requirement deviations, assign priority and severity and escalate if needed. </li> <li>Collaborating and assisting the project teams to triage and reproduction of defects, debugging of customer issues,validate fixes and attending sprint ceremonies.</li> <li>Work with other QA engineers and developers to adapt a test automation strategy.</li> <li>Increase Automation test case coverage by developing reusable scripts, brining test efficiency by using automation for release testing. </li> <li>Actively contribute towards product design and roadmap discussions by pitching ideas from a quality perspective.</li> <li>Keeping current with tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, automation products etc.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Do you have the right ingredients*?</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.</li> <li>Ability to learn and understand complex business logic and find creative ways to test it.</li> <li>Design and deliver test plans for a significant component, set of features, mid-size application, or service. </li> <li>Have a solid understanding of the test strategies and me ...
