<h2><strong>About the opportunity</strong></h2> <p>The position of <strong>Area Vice President, Mid-Market EMEA </strong> (f/m/d)is a critical leadership role within our EMEA Sales organisation, reporting directly to the <strong>SVP EMEA APAC</strong>.</p> <p>This role carries both <strong>first-line and second-line management responsibilities</strong>, leading a team of Mid-Market Sales Managers and their respective Account Executives. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and developing a high-performing regional sales organisation focused on organisations across EMEA with revenues between <strong>$100m and $1bn USD</strong>.</p> <p>As a senior sales leader with a strong SaaS background, you will drive regional strategy, operational excellence, and consistent revenue growth across the Mid-Market segment. You will partner cross-functionally to accelerate pipeline generation, optimise go-to-market execution, navigate complex procurement cycles, and act as an executive stakeholder for strategic customers within your region.</p> <p>As a quota-carrying leader, you own the regional forecast, proactively identify and mitigate risks, capitalise on opportunities, and continuously elevate performance through structured coaching, talent development, and strong sales leadership.</p> <h2><strong>What to expect? </strong></h2> <ul> <li>Lead and scale a growing Mid-Market sales organisation across EMEA, managing both Sales Managers and Account Executives</li> <li>Drive new business acquisition and expansion across organisations with $100m–$1bn revenue</li> <li>Define and execute the regional Mid-Market strategy aligned to broader EMEA APAC objectives</li> <li>Build repeatable, scalable processes and best practices to drive predictable revenue growth</li> <li>Own regional forecasting, pipeline health, and quota attainment across multiple teams</li> <li>Develop leadership capability within first-line managers through coaching and mentorship</li> <li>Serve as senior point of escalation internally and in strategic customer engagements</li> <li>Contribute to regional strategy through data-driven insights, performance metrics, and market intelligence</li> <li>Collaborate proactively with Business Development, Solution Engineering, Marketing, Recruitment, Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success to ensure strong regional alignment</li> <li>Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer value, and continuous improvement</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What you need to be successful?</strong></h2> <ul> <li>10+ years of SaaS sales experience, with significant experience in Mid-Market or Enterprise segments</li> <li>Minimum 5+ years in sales leadership, including managing managers (second-line leadership experience preferred)</li> <li>Strong experience selling into organisations with $100m–$1bn revenue across EMEA</li> <li>Proven success in closing and scaling multi-six-figure new business and expansion ACV</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales managers and Account Executives</li> <li>Experience implementing and driving consistent sales methodologies and qualification frameworks</li> <li>Strong analytical and data-driven approach to forecasting, pipeline management, and performance optimisation</li> <li>Highly effective communicator with strong executive presence and stakeholder management capability</li> <li>Track record of building loyal, referenceable customers across diverse European markets</li> <li>Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue targets</li> <li>German language skills beneficial but not essential</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Join an ambitious tech company reshaping the way people build digital experiences</li> <li>Full-time employees receive Stock Options for the opportunity to share in the success of our company</li> <li>Fertility and family building benefits, including a lifetime reimbursable wallet to support your g ...
