We offer you the opportunity to delight millions of TV streamers around the world while gaining meaningful experience across a variety of disciplines.</p> <p> </p></div><h3>About the Role</h3> <p>Roku is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Roku TV Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) team.  This role will provide FPA support to Roku’s TV business unit.</p> <p>This role provides analytical and direct business support, including assisting with the forecast, close, and annual plan processes.  This role also involves the coordination of business inputs across multiple departments. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>The role provides the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the consumer electronics business as part of a rapidly growing, innovative company in a dynamic and evolving industry.</p> <p>This role will report directly to the Roku TV, FPA Manager.</p> <p><em>For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $135,000 annually.<br><br>Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.<br><br>This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.<br><br></em></p> <h3><br>What you'll be doing</h3> <ul> <li>Business partner with the Roku TV Business Development team to accurately maintain and consolidate global TV reporting</li> <li>Act as the finance lead for Roku’s new Projectors business, including management of forecast, close, and long-range planning cycles</li> <li>Support month end close process by working closely with accounting to ensure complete and accurate bookings for OPEX programs</li> <li>Support the monthly TV sales unit forecast process</li> <li>Assist the broader TV team in close and forecast submissions within FPA systems (Anaplan)</li> <li>Have a clear understanding of application of GAAP accounting rules in PL forecasts</li> <li>Identify key variance drivers to explain variances to plan, forecast, YoY QoQ.</li> <li>Provide ad hoc PL modeling and in-depth analysis to drive intelligent decision making</li> <li>Establish a highly collaborative, cross-functional relationships across the broader Roku organization<br><br></li> </ul> <h3>We're excited if you have</h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, ideally with a blend of finance, banking, and/or accounting expertise (e.g. management/strategy consulting, FPA/ corporate finance, data analytics, etc.)</li> <li>Experience in a high growth consumer electronics or retail company a plus</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related subject</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision</li> <li>Ability to understand complex business drivers, produce high-quality analytics and communicate resul ...
