What You Will Be Doing: We are hiring a Senior Engineering Technician to develop Helion's fusion generators and subscale plasma devices. You will help develop hardware, lead full-scale builds, and coach fellow technicians on the Production Team. You will report directly to our Build Manager at our Everett, WA campus. You Will: · Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and managers to design, assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems · Design and fabricate fixtures and jigs to aid in the assembly of electromechanical components · Own process development and work instruction creation for prototype assembly and test · Design, build, and perform mechanical and electrical tests on parts and assemblies. · Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the production process · Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50lbs Required Skills: · 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Technician · Experience using light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes, etc.) · Experience with CAD modeling · Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports · Efficient use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for clear documentation and communication.
