Come join us! </span></p> </div></div><p><strong>Available Location: Lisbon </strong></p> <p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Jira Systems Administrator, you will serve as the primary architect and guardian of our Atlassian Data Center environment, ensuring peak performance, security, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams to translate complex business needs into streamlined workflows while leveraging Groovy and ScriptRunner to automate advanced logic. We are looking for a meticulous, "uptime-focused" technical expert who balances deep infrastructure knowledge with a commitment to maintaining a clean, well-governed instance.</p> <p><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong><strong><br></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>System Maintenance Security:</strong> Lead the end-to-end patching process for Jira Data Center/Server instances. Monitor Atlassian Security Advisories and perform version upgrades to ensure the environment is secure and performant.</li> <li><strong>Instance Governance:</strong> Serve as the primary gatekeeper for the Jira configuration. Manage global settings, including workflows, permission schemes, screen schemes, and custom field consolidation.</li> <li><strong>Automation Customization:</strong> Develop and maintain complex scripts using <strong>ScriptRunner (Groovy)</strong> to automate business logic, extend Jira’s native capabilities, and integrate with external APIs.</li> <li><strong>Performance Monitoring:</strong> Conduct regular health checks, JVM tuning, and re-indexing.
