ABOUT THE ROLE: As an HR Business Partner at Hims & Hers, you will be the dedicated People partner for our Product and Creative departments. You will work closely with Directors and Sr. Directors to ensure their teams are aligned, high-performing, and set up to deliver on our ambitious product roadmap. This role requires a professional with advanced, wide-ranging experience. You will be expected to resolve complex professional issues with independent judgment, acting as a subject matter resource for your stakeholders. YOU WILL: - Role Clarity & Collaboration: Partner with Product and Creative leaders to refine roles and responsibilities within the "Triangle of Execution." You will help teams navigate the "why," "how," and "when" of delivery to reduce friction and increase speed. - Coaching & Advice: Advise frontline managers and Directors on performance management, career development, and team dynamics. You act as a coach to help emerging leaders manage through Hims & Hers’ rapid scale. - Performance & Rewards: Drive the execution of our performance culture. This includes leading the semi-annual review process for your groups and ensuring that high-performing talent is recognized and rewarded - Workforce Execution: Assist leaders in planning their team structures and headcount needs. You will ensure that hiring and retention plans are aligned with the goal of elevating our AI-powered personalized care experience. - Issue Resolution: Independently analyze and resolve complex employee relations matters or organizational bottlenecks within the Product and Creative teams. - Subject Matter Resource: Act as the "go-to" person for all things People-related within your assigned functions. You translate People Team priorities into actionable departmental goals. - Stakeholder Influence: Influence diverse audiences—from analytical Product Managers to visionary Designers—to adopt best practices in talent management and organizational health. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other HRBPs and the Recruiting team to ensure a seamless end-to-end talent experience for your business groups. YOU HAVE: - Experience: 6+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with experience supporting fast-paced tech or creative organizations. - Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems of a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. - Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR principles and practices (compensation, performance, employment law, and org design) and how they apply to Product and Creative teams. - Communication: Strong ability to persuade others and adapt your style to meet the needs of different functional stakeholders. - Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
