We provide tools, resources and support to enable users to reach their health goals.</p> <p>We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Engineering to lead a cross-functional team of Android, Backend, and iOS engineers to drive foundational engineering work that enables product teams and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer value. The team focuses on outcomes over outputs, prioritizing work based on MFP’s product vision and strategy using data and experimentation.</p> <p><strong>About the Team:</strong></p> <p>Product Platform is composed of some of our most senior engineers, passionate about solving complex problems and building high-impact engineering solutions. The team is responsible for critical systems that power the broader organization, including modernizing data synchronization and persistence between our mobile clients and backend, improving the mobile developer experience, and building AI-driven tooling to accelerate code modernization. This role offers the opportunity to immediately shape and deliver technical solutions that unlock significant business and product opportunities across multiple teams.</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong> </h2> <p>As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team in defining and delivering against quarterly objectives that increase velocity, safety, and effectiveness across product engineering teams. Your primary focus will be cultivating an environment where engineers thrive in identifying, justifying, and creating solutions that drive meaningful product value.</p> <ul> <li>Build strong relationships and regularly converse with Engineering and Product leaders across teams to proactively identify collaboration and platform opportunities</li> <li>Balance product platform delivery with foundational improvements to core services and mobile clients, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term sustainability</li> <li>Take a hands-on approach to delivery management, maintaining a healthy backlog, prioritizing technical debt and maintenance work, and ensuring predictable execution</li> <li>Own and elevate engineering quality standards by championing testing practices, fostering continuous improvement, and strengthening delivery rigor</li> <li>Coach and develop engineers through mentorship, performance management, and career growth support, while maintaining strong team health and engagement</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Qualifications to be successful in this role:</strong> </h2> <ul> <li>Meaningful experience managing platform or foundational engineering work in close partnership with Product and cross-functional stakeholders.
