We are looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to define how 1Password supports the full spectrum of modern AI-forward software builders across every industry, team size, and level of development experience. This senior individual-contributor role focuses on helping developers, DevOps and DevSecOps teams understand how 1Password secures identities, secrets, services, automation, and emerging agent-driven workflows across today’s rapidly evolving development landscape. Software creation now extends far beyond traditional engineering teams. Experienced developers are building distributed services, integrating APIs, automating pipelines, and managing complex environments. Meanwhile, non-traditional developers are using scripting, low-code tools, and increasingly AI-assisted approaches to build internal tools, automated processes, and lightweight agents. Every one of these projects introduces new identities, credentials, and access paths that need to be secured. This reality creates two critical challenges: (1) How to discover, secure, and govern the growing number of developer-driven or shadow projects—including onboarding new agents, securing machine-to-system access and providing identity services for internally-built tools and automations. (2) How to help every developer of every background, tooling, or experience level to become a secure developer, supported by guardrails and seamless security tooling that fits directly into their workflows. This role sits at the center of both challenges. You will shape how 1Password empowers all types of developers to build securely, while enabling IT and Security teams to provide safe, scalable foundations. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives. You will help bring new capabilities to market, sharpen 1Password’s position within the developer security ecosystem, and guide customers as they modernize and secure their development practices.
