At Klaviyo, AEs pride themselves on being product experts who focus on closing deals the right way—with the right customers whom they set up for success.</p> <p>As a <strong>Commercial AE</strong>, you will run the entire sales cycle for our SMB prospects—from qualification to demo to driving the buying process to close—all while managing a high-velocity pipeline. The best AEs are able to forecast their business with accuracy and proactively extract value from their territory long-term.</p> <p>Join us, and let's build the future of marketing technology together.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> This role is <strong>hybrid</strong> and based out of our <strong>Sydney, Australia</strong> office.</p> <h3><strong>How You’ll Make a Difference</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Seek and qualify</strong> new opportunities across the Commercial segment in Australia and New Zealand.</li> <li><strong>Actively manage pipeline</strong> and develop a strategy for sustained, long-term success in your territory.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate with cross-functional team members</strong> in product, engineering, partnerships, and customer success to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for your clients.</li> <li><strong>Support the success of your peers</strong> and contribute to the high-energy culture of the Sydney office.</li> <li><strong>Exhibit Klaviyo’s values</strong> of accountability and effort in every interaction.</li> <li><strong>Transform workflows</strong> by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Who You Are</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Experienced:</strong> 3+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years specifically in SaaS or Martech in a new logo acquisition role.</li> <li><strong>Commercial Mindset:</strong> Proven track record of managing SMB or Commercial-sized deals with multiple stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Collaborative:</strong> Ability to build relationships with internal (BDRs, Marketing, Ops, Partnerships) and external (clients, agencies) stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Self-Starter:</strong> You define yourself as an energetic, results-oriented individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.</li> <li><strong>Data-Driven:</strong> A track record of using data to inform decision-making and managing pipeline accurately.</li> <li><strong>Strategic Independent:</strong> A results-oriented, highly motivated attitude and the ability to work independently to execute sales strategies.</li> <li><strong>AI Fluent:</strong> You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects and are excited to responsibly explore new AI tools to make your work smarter and more efficient.</li> <li><strong>Local Compliance:</strong> Eligible to ...
