Your Impact This role will collaborate closely with regional and theater(APJC) leaders to drive initiatives with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) that grow their Splunk business in Japan, and will also support the implementation of partner program by understanding program details / enabling partners. The successful candidate will: Set the overall MSP partnership strategy for Japan and own annual planning, including joint investments and execution plans. Manage and build relationships with key MSP stakeholders to drive Splunk MSP revenue. Own the MSP strategy and execution for Japan, helping to recruit and scale MSP partnerships. Lead Japan Partner team with Partner Program Enablement and Promotion activities. Develop & Execute Joint Co-Selling Strategies Create and execute joint go-to-market strategies with MSPs to address customer challenges.Incorporate an MSP-focused sales motion to expand market reach and revenue streams. Annual Partnership Planning Lead the annual joint planning process with MSP partners, setting objectives, identifying target customers, outlining pipeline goals, and defining execution timelines. Ensure joint investments in initiatives like practice creation, Center of Excellence (CoE) development, and solution acceleration are allocated effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Splunk’s sales engineering and product teams to evangelize Splunk’s offerings within MSP practices. Partner with sales leadership to ensure account alignment and foster cooperative relationships with MSP technology and security teams. Pipeline Ownership & MSP Expansion Drive the Japan pipeline with MSPs, leveraging Splunk’s platform to achieve shared growth objectives. Enable MSP partners with tools and resources to champion Splunk solutions effectively. Partner Program Operations Drive operational excellence through readiness, and enablement activities for partners.Support the rollout of Partner program, ensuring partners are fully enabled for a seamless and successful adoption of the partner program. 8+ years of experience building alliances with partners, including co-marketing, joint investments, practice creation, CoE development, joint sales planning, and pipeline development, with a specific focus on the Japan market. Demonstrated success co-selling with Partners into large enterprise customers, preferably with a focus on managed services (MSP) offerings. Proven track record as a builder, able to establish and grow strategic partnerships from the ground up, particularly in the Japan Partner ecosystem. Demonstrated ability to engage at management level for regular operational reviews Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence management leaders and stakeholders within both Splunk and partner organizations. Experience driving partner enablement programs, including training, certifications, and joint solution development. Familiarity with the System Integrators and Service Providers, with an understanding of key trends, customer needs, and regulatory considerations in Japan. A background in enterprise technology (e.g., cybersecurity, cloud, or data analytics) and experience working with large Japanese enterprises.
