Your Impact As a Program Manager Intern, you will support the planning and execution of strategic projects that shape the future of Cisco’s technology. You will work alongside experienced program managers to track progress, identify risks, and streamline workflows across diverse cross-functional teams. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn the end-to-end project lifecycle while developing the leadership and organizational skills necessary to manage large-scale initiatives in a fast-paced corporate environment. Project Coordination: Assist in defining project scopes, timelines, and milestones, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on goals and deliverables. Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress and maintain dashboards or status reports to provide visibility into milestones, risks, and resource allocation. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to help resolve bottlenecks and drive project momentum. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize internal workflows and documentation to enhance team efficiency and project delivery quality. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Relevant fields include: Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professional stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in standard productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Workspace). Able to legally live and work in the country for which you’re applying, without visa support or sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Experience using project management software like Jira, Smartsheet, Trello, or Asana. Basic understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to track and present project metrics. Demonstrated leadership experience through academic projects, student organizations, or previous internships.
