Your Impact As an integral member of the Global Partner Technical Sales team, you will own the ideation and development of technical assets (architectures, white papers, demos, etc) to help our MSP and MSSP partners develop and deliver new solutions and help “enable by doing” our own field technical sales teams in selling and creating interest and leads in our customer base all around new and emerging technologies. You will also own strategic interlock between the partner community and our product engineering and product management teams. Drive alignment between our partner needs and our engineering and PM teams; Work with our partners and our own global partner, product, marketing, technical sales, and customer success organizations to ideate and develop new initiatives for growth; Strategize with account teams on how to best position Splunk and Cisco's technology portfolio to achieve both partner and customer success; Engage effectively with our partners, defining an appropriate technical engagement strategy aligned to the partner’s desired Splunk and Cisco based GTM objectives; Define the technical strategy/plan & implement appropriate enablement plans that support practice acceleration based on agreed technical engagement strategy; Help partners create and mature a technical practice that establishes a Center of Excellence (CoE) geared towards accelerating service offerings creation to drive GTM, revenue & pipeline; Provide expert industry knowledge at partner and customer executive meetings; Create external facing presentations to convey the value of Cisco and Splunk’s Technology and our Partner solutions built around them; Host internal webinars to up-level our partners and our own account teams in relevant Security and/or Observability technologies and how the Splunk/Cisco portfolio's synergies help them land and expand business; Present at external industry conferences and contribute to our external blog site detailing a recent engagement or development; Architect and contribute to demo creation on relevant technologies; Provide strategic guidance to our product teams and be willing to not only alert on issues, but to proactively help solve them; Develop and lead deep-dive, hands-on workshops and whiteboard sessions with partners and their customers that prove the value of Splunk’s Technology to their organization and help earn partner/customer technical trust. Ability to demonstrate the value proposition of Splunk’s products and services with platform core capabilities, Observability solutions, and/or Security solutions. Minimum Qualifications 10 years plus of experience in Security, AI, Unified Computing, Hyperscalars, Cloud, ITOps/Observability, Big Data, Edge, IoT, IIoT, or closely related fields; Demonstrated expertise in five or more of the following areas: Cisco UCS, Splunk, IT Security, Splunk SIEM/SOAR, Cisco XDR, ThousandEyes, Observability, Splunk O11y cloud, AppDynamics, IoT, IIoT, environmental and industry data and protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, etc), Edge Computing, Cloud Technologies, Microservices Architectures, Cloud Native Technologies, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, App Development, and Mobile; Proficient in either Security, IT, SecOps, DevOps, ITOps, AIOps, Observability, NOC, SOC, solution with real world experience.
