<p><strong>Who You'll Work With</strong></p><p>We are looking for a self-motivated, and team-oriented Manufacturing Engineer - Debug Focus who takes pride in driving and sustaining product development through manufacturing. As an Arista Software Manufacturing Engineer - Debug Focus, you will engage with Engineering, Platform Design, CM Partners, CA personnel and other business functions. You will get an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high caliber team building test software to help validate high-speed digital designs and achieve high yields in manufacturing Arista Network products used in the computer networking industry's largest data centers and&#xa0;AI based applications.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong><br> <br> We are seeking a candidate who takes pride in driving product quality and yield within our CM manufacturing partners. As a Product Engineer, you will engage with Manufacturing, Engineering, Platform Design, CM Partners and other business functions. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the smartest engineering, manufacturing and technical leaders in the industry.</p><ul><li>Manage and drive quality metrics and improvement activities (yields, bone pile, scrap rates, component fallout).</li><li>Line stops / purges / quality issues leadership.</li><li>Drive product failure debug activities to minimize scrap rate.</li><li>Actively debug product failures.</li><li>Assess manufacturing personnel technical capability.</li><li>Ensure that production site receives the required level of product training.</li><li>Provide hardware debug mentorship to contract manufacturing test engineers and debug technicians. Improve manufacturing operations test processes and actively enhance efficiency, consistency, cost avoidance, and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Address Return Rate (RMA) and customer complaints.</li><li>DRT participation and leadership. Actively work with the Defect Reduction Team to identify product issues and drive resolutions.</li><li>Manage and drive test yield improvements.</li><li>Establish technical direction through the investigation and evaluation of new test technologies.</li><li>Interface/engage with Engineering, Platform Engineering, Manufacturing and CM partners.</li><li>Understand implementation of Change Orders (Agile)</li><li>Manage test infrastructure requirements and ensure factory capacity capability.</li><li>Factory readiness for New Product launches</li><li>Identify and drive process improvement, cycle times reduction and lean activities</li><li>Develop process and/or best practice documentation.</li><li>Establish technical direction through the investigation and evaluation of new test technologies.</li><li>Work in conformance to established manufacturing test processes and procedures.</li></ul> <ul><li>10+ years of experience in contract manufacturing environment, preferably in a high mix, low volume PCBA environment as well as box build.</li><li>BS or MS degree required.</li><li>Strong leadership capability, with experience in managing, recruiting, developing and coaching employees.</li><li>Proven record of accomplishment driving business efficiency and improvements.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Malay.</li><li>Must be results-oriented and possess sound business judgement.</li><li>Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills combined with an ability to research information.</li><li>Experience in production process metric implementation, yield management and product quality.</li><li>Ability and experience in Test Capacity management and cycle time improvements.</li><li>Expert knowledge in ECO, BOM and Deviation processes, (Agile experience a plus).</li><li>Solid working knowledge of DFx (DFM, DFA, DFT, DFQ and/or DFR).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to establish technical direction through the investigation and evaluation of new test technologies.</li><li>Expertise in networking products related to routing, switching and data ...
