<p><strong>Who You’ll Work With</strong></p><p>We're looking for a NPI Materials Manager who can do more than just manage materials — we want someone who can inspire and elevate the function. This role plays a key part in how we bring new hardware products to life, working closely with cross-functional teams to foster alignment and collaboration. You’ll drive NPI supply chain execution across multiple programs and play a key role in shaping the direction and performance of the NPIMM function. </p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul></ul><p>I execution: Drive supply chain readiness across all phases (EVT/DVT) from proto through production launch Lead NPI execution: Drive supply chain readiness across all phases (EVT/DVT) from proto through production launch</p><ul><li>Set the standard: Establish and evolve best practices for BOM management, supplier readiness, and material tracking</li><li>Act as a connector: Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to ensure timely data flow and aligned priorities</li><li>Own supplier engagement: Manage key supplier relationships for NPI builds and proactively mitigate material risk</li><li>Escalate and unblock: Develop clear escalation paths and accountability frameworks for technical data and sourcing decisions</li><li>Drive continuous improvement: Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to optimize NPI workflows and reduce friction</li><li>Be a key contributor:Show strong ownership, act with urgency, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul>
<ul><li>7+ years in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing, with direct experience supporting hardware NPI</li><li>A deep understanding of product development cycles and what it takes to support hardware builds from scratch</li><li>Strong analytical and execution skills—you can zoom out and think systems, or dive into the BOM and spot gaps</li><li>Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority</li><li>Comfort operating in high-growth, high-change environments</li><li>Experience with ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), and spreadsheets</li></ul>
<ul><li><p>Location Requirement: Only candidates currently based in Penang, Malaysia will be considered for this role.</p></li><li><p>Work Authorization: Applicants must have full legal rights to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</p></li></ul>
