Motion Designer

<p>As a Motion Designer at Wix, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives through motion, built on a strong foundation of design principles. You understand how to design for motion using composition, typography, and color, ensuring that movement serves as a natural extension of the brand’s visual identity and storytelling. In your day-to-day, you’ll:&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>Develop styleframes &amp; storyboards to establish the creative direction for projects</p></li><li><p>Shape brand aesthetics through directing motion, ensuring consistency across digital platforms</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with designers, animators, editors, and 3D artists to bring concepts to life</p></li><li><p>Work closely with creatives&#xa0; and marketers to translate ideas into compelling motion visuals</p></li><li><p>Think beyond animation—focus on storytelling, product experience, and visual impact</p></li><li><p>Stay ahead of trends—explore new techniques in motion design, branding, and interactive visuals</p></li></ul> <ul><li><p>3+ years of experience as a Motion Designer with a strong design-first approach and expertise in typography, color theory, and composition</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Figma and Adobe applications (like Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects), Familiarity with 3D workflows and an openness to AI-enhanced design tools</p></li><li><p>A sharp eye for aesthetics—You know how to craft beautiful, effective, and brand-consistent motion work</p></li><li><p>Strong conceptual thinker—You can ideate, sketch, and design motion-based storytelling&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken</p></li><li><p>Proactive and independent—You take initiative, adapt quickly, and can lead motion design projects from start to finish</p></li></ul> <p>We are the Marketing Motion Studio team at Wix.
