Job Description
As a People and Communities (HR) Country Consultant for Germany, you will play a hybrid role focusing on sales compensation processes and supporting people and culture-related projects. You will partner with the People & Communities and business ecosystem to drive compliance, change, and engagement initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of sales compensation and supporting cross-functional people projects. Responsibilities Collaborate with sales operations teams to ensure accurate, timely, and predictable sales commission for Germany-based Cisco sellers Manage end-to-end approval, implementation, and reporting requirements related to sales compensation with the German Works Council Ensure local legal compliance by collaborating with the Works Council to develop, update and implement any necessary compensation policy changes Conduct regular interlock with the Works Council, including negotiations on IT Tools, salary structure and alignment with legal teams Support in-program changes, local nuances, and drive resolution for employee escalations related to sales compensation Partner with business leaders and the People & Communities ecosystem to execute Country People & Culture plans Support the delivery of cross-functional people projects such as restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures Minimum Qualifications German speaker Compensation or Sales Compensation experience In-depth country knowledge and local HR expertise in Germany Proven experience as a trusted HR consultant, advisor, and coach with local Works Council experience Strong business acumen and effective stakeholder management and communication skills Critical thinker with strategic agility and the ability to work dynamically and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications Change catalyst with the ability to influence Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in managing and implementing change management initiatives Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Passion for driving an inclusive culture and supporting employee engagement Sound judgment and ability to manage ambiguity Why Cisco?
