In this role, you will help modernize and automate security, development, and operations workflows using AI-driven tools. This internship is ideal for students who are passionate about the engineering of automation and business workflows within cloud platforms, cybersecurity, DevOps, and applying artificial intelligence to real-world engineering problems. You will work alongside experienced engineers and security professionals to design, build, and test systems and automation solutions that improve software delivery speed, reliability, and security across infrastructure, development, and IT and Security operational lifecycles.   How We Work As a DevSecOps AI Automation Intern. you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:   Company-issued equipment Formal, hands-on training   Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Providing cross-team support as needed Assist in enhancing DevSecOps automation workflows and pipelines using CI/CD principles Explore and implement AI/ML-driven automation for security scanning, and incident detection and remediation Support cloud infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Help integrate security tools into IT operations and DevSecOps workflows Analyze AI learning models, logs, metrics, and alerts to identify opportunities for intelligent automation Document solutions, automation, processes, and findings for knowledge sharing   Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field Basic understanding of DevOps and cloud concepts (e.g., workflows, containers, cloud services) Familiarity with at least Python and at least one additional programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Bash, Java, .NET or similar) Interest in cybersecurity, automation, and AI/ML applications Exposure to tools such as GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn Ability to work collaboratively and communicate ideas clearly Nice to Have (Not Required) Understanding of AI/ML frameworks or APIs (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, GitLab Duo, GH Copilot, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain) Familiarity with the concepts of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Familiarity with the GitLab DevSecOps Platform Knowledge of security concepts such as IAM, vulnerability management, or threat modeling Prior internship, project, or lab experience in DevOps or security   What You’ll Gain   Hands-on experience applying AI to real DevSecOps and automation challenges Mentorship from experienced engineers and security professionals Exposure to enterprise-scale systems and modern cloud environments A portfolio of real-world automation and security projects Valuable experience for careers in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Cloud, or AI   Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer   Corpay is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
