We combine performance rigor with creative experimentation to unlock meaningful contribution and deliver against Thumbtack’s mission of helping homeowners and home professionals accomplish more.</p> <h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2> <p>We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on <strong>Growth Marketing Manager</strong> responsible for driving core performance and scaling Thumbtack’s Paid Social program. This role will manage high-impact paid campaigns and contribute to the growth of key channels including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, and others. They will lead best-in-class operations, combining sharp execution with cross-functional collaboration and a strong understanding of how social contributes to the broader growth strategy.</p> <p>The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Paid Social, spanning campaign management, measurement, targeting, creative, and testing. They are a strong operator and creative problem solver who consistently elevates both strategic thinking and channel performance.</p> <h2><strong>What you'll do </strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Manage and efficiently scale Thumbtack’s Paid Social campaigns </strong>across platforms like Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit—driving incremental customer growth, while balancing positive contribution.</li> <li><strong>Responsible for in-house campaign management and optimizations</strong>—including budget pacing, bid optimization, creative iteration, audience segmentation, and platform best practices.</li> <li><strong>Build and implement Paid Social testing roadmaps</strong> with XFN partners, driving a continuous test-and-learn approach across audiences, creative, and platforms.</li> <li>Identify and execute opportunities for <strong>channel expansion and scaling newer platforms.</strong></li> <li>Responsible for <strong>tracking, QA, reporting, and measurement </strong>for Paid Social, partnering with internal and third-party tools to ensure confidence in results.</li> <li>Partner closely with analytics, product, and marketing tech teams to build <strong>automated tools for audience workflows, creative decisioning, campaign builds, and reporting.</strong><strong><br></strong></li> <li>Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams to develop and iterate <strong>thumb-stopping, performance-driven creative</strong> that also advances Thumbtack’s brand narrative.</li> <li><strong>Partner with external agency and platform relationships</strong> - pushing for innovation, unlocking new opportunities, and ensuring Thumbtack remains on the leading edge of social marketing.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>In order to be successful, you must bring</strong></h2> <ul> <li>6+ years of experience managing, scaling, and evolving paid social programs.</li> <li>Proven success directly managing complex Paid Social campaigns and optimizations, including dynamic ads and AB tests.</li> <li>Deep platform and technical expertise in Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms (dynamic ads, CAPI, etc).</li> <li>Strong analytical chops - experience with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups) and hands-on exposure to incrementality, A/ ...
