Head of Sales Systems Platform Strategy Department: Operations Team: Sales Operations Location: Chicago, United States Type: Full-Time **About the Role** We are establishing a dedicated Platform Center of Excellence to lead the strategy and design of our global commercial systems. This function will own how our core platform evolves across Salesforce and the broader commercial tech ecosystem, ensuring the foundations of our business can scale efficiently as we grow. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in defining and designing the most strategic platform initiatives across our business before development begins, while operating as the bridge between business strategy and technical execution. **The Head of Platform Strategy** will partner closely with senior leaders across operations, product, engineering, and regional teams to translate complex business priorities into clear platform designs and structured business requirements that can scale globally, owning the definition of the “what” and “why” for major platform investments. This role will ensure initiatives are well scoped, technically sound and aligned to long term architecture before build begins. Key initiatives of this role include redesigning account heirarchies and segmentation across global accounts, expanding Salesforce capabilities into new markets, improving lead to cash workflows and contract automation, standing up robust data governance across core CRM objects, integratining planning and quota tools into the platform ecosystem, and definining the architecture and sequencing for next generation CRM evolution. This role requires someone who combines strategic thinking with deep technical fluency, strong system design instincts, and the ability to operate in complex, fast moving environments. **What You'll Do** - **Own Platform Design for Critical Initiatives:** Lead the design and definition of major platform initiatives across our commercial systems.
