Program Manager I, Tech - Maps and Autonomous Mobility Department: Product Team: Program Management Location: Hyderabad, India Type: Full-Time ### **Role Overview** As a Program Manager on this team, you will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of programs delivering deep insights across **Maps and Autonomous Vehicle (AV)** use cases. This role spans both strategic and operational responsibilities and requires a strong combination of **technical acumen, program leadership, and business judgment**. You will lead complex, cross-functional technology programs, partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations, and ensure high-quality delivery within defined timelines and budgets. ### **What You Will Need** - Lead large-scale, cross-functional programs from definition through execution, ensuring alignment with business and product objectives - Drive operational excellence and execution rigor across Maps and AV-related charters - Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver data-driven insights that improve models, identify failure points, and enhance end-user experience - Manage globally distributed teams and vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes - Own program budgets and drive cost-efficiency initiatives while maintaining quality standards - Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement through performance analysis and experimentation - Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes through regular updates and business reviews with senior stakeholders ### **What You Will Do** - Program Leadership: Define program scope, OKRs, and KPIs. Ensure alignment with stakeholder objectives and product goals - Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across ops, engineering, and product for data diagnostics needs within Uber - Execution and Delivery: Independently manage a large team of vendors to drive quality and efficiency.
