You will focus on delivering actionable insights at the holistic business level and to executive/senior management teams from Strategy, Finance, Go-to-Market, Operations, and other departments.</p> <p>In the role of Senior Data Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics.</p> <p>We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Los Angeles.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Act as a strategic thought partner to stakeholders across the business, helping them frame questions, identify opportunities, and interpret insights to drive better decision-making.</li> <li>Partner closely with global teams to build strong relationships, align on trends, and manage analytics-related priorities.</li> <li>Develop dashboards, reports, and impactful presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.</li> <li>Use creative and analytical thinking to connect data into cohesive insights that inform holistic business decisions.</li> <li>Keep abreast of the latest data analytics tools, techniques, and industry trends to ensure the team remains competitive.</li> <li>Provide guidance on best practices in Tableau and enable teams to maximize the tool's capabilities.</li> <li>Uphold a high standard of analytical rigor and exceptional service across all levels of the business, navigating roadblocks and ensuring timely delivery.</li> <li>Leverage complex databases, OLAP engines, data warehouses, and data lakes through SQL or SQL-like tools.</li> <li>Lead the development of weekly insights decks for leadership by synthesizing cross-functional input, tracking goal progress, and highlighting the business impact of key initiatives.</li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <p>We get excited about candidates, like you, because...</p> <ul> <li>You bring 8+ years of experience with data analysis, advanced analytics, statistics, experimentation, and optimization</li> <li>You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python, coupled with proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI</li> <li>You have experience defining KPIs, statistical and predictive modeling concepts, descriptive statistics, and experimental design</li> <li>You have experience working with large datasets (Terabytes of data/ billions of records)</li> <li>You have experience building compelling and actionable presentations/visualizations directed at an executive level audience</li> <li>You have experience working across a globally matrixed organization</li> <li>You have experience in the SVOD or similar subscription based industry as a plus</li> <li>You possess a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a strong foundational knowledge and expertise</li> </ul> <p>About the Team</p> <p>Join our Global Business Analytics team at Crunchyroll and be part of a dynamic group that wields data-driven insights to shape the future of our business.
