ABOUT THE ROLE - We’re hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to own and scale Sully.ai http://Sully.ai’s multi-cloud infrastructure, delivering automated, reliable, and cost-efficient deployments across regions while standardizing developer experience and platform operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Own multi‑cloud provisioning, upgrading, and reliability of the core platform - Automate everything via infrastructure as code and GitOps - Ship fully automated deployments across regions - Standardize developer experience across areas such as tooling and CI/CD - Optimize our stack’s scalability and maintain cost‑awareness for AI workloads HARD REQUIREMENTS - Senior-level experience & ability in Platform, DevOps, or SRE roles with production Kubernetes across multiple clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), not single‑cloud only. - Proficiency with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code, including ArgoCD and either Terraform or Pulumi. - Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript for platform tooling and automation. KEY RESULTS (FIRST 90 DAYS) - Take a loosely defined platform challenge, write the requirements, and deliver a working solution. - Audit platform, CI/CD, and dev tooling with Eng/Product; remove top blockers. - Baseline key metrics (lead time, deploy freq, MTTR, cost per token); draft a Platform Playbook. - 100% infrastructure changes via IaC + GitOps; no console edits. - Automated multi-region deployments across ≥2 clouds; SLOs enforced; MTTR ↓50%. - Engineer efficiency up 80–90% on routine workflows; reduced LLM and infra cost.
