The Role
As a Data Engineer at
Nucleo
you will play an integral role in the delivery of data focused projects
in
our growing Data AI practice
. You will work directly with Clients and
Nucleo
Project teams, taking ownership of project deliverables and
be responsible for
collecting,
analysing , and interpreting data to ensure high
quality of
data and governance.
The
Data Engineer
will
be required
to work closely with stakeholders to define data requirements, define data architecture, and support the reporting teams to enhance
data driven
decision-making.
Responsibilities
Lead key data analytics and improvement activities such as
Data capture, preparation,
validation
and analysis activities
Ensure data quality and governance compliance
Advise and design development of data quality improvement solutions
Lead extract, transform and load (ETL) activities
Assist
in supporting stakeholder on strategic data driven decisions
Support key business readiness activities
Lead and manage data focused projects .
Work with stakeholders to document business,
data
and system requirements
Make recommendations and advise on solutions
Take ownership of projects deliverables
Build effective long-term relationships with clients
Requirements
Experience with Power BI, Python, or automation tools within the Microsoft stack.
4 +
years’ relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Technology , Business or Commerce, Engineering, Data Analytics, or relevant domain.
Fluency in English both written and verbal
Ability to explore and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Proficiency
in data manipulation tools (Excel, SQL or other equivalent)
Ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively
Experience of Master Data Management, Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives
Possess a deep understanding of database technologies, data modelling, and data integration principles
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and data governance frameworks.
Experience designing or supporting AI/analytics initiatives.
