How you can help make a better world of work
We’re hiring a Lead Project Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract, to continue to drive a complex, cross-functional project involving the overhaul of our technology stack. This project spans solution design / build, systems re-architecture and configuration, data migration, downstream system / reporting changes, end-to-end testing and enablement. This project involves collaborating closely with various internal teams and external vendors that are in US (San Francisco, Austin). You’ll be accountable for the overall project’s delivery, align stakeholders and steering committees, plan and run delivery, and land change into operations all with clear governance and crisp communication.
What you’ll do
Own end-to-end project delivery across design, build, test, go-live, and hypercare; execute to the agreed implementation plan and governance cadence.
Lead cross-functional execution and governance (SteerCo/working groups), aligning project stakeholders; manage dependencies, scope, resources, and controlled change.
Manage external partners and internal contributors to maintain velocity, quality, and structured knowledge transfer into BAU teams.
Translate the endorsed design and business requirements into a prioritised delivery plan to protect timelines.
Drive critical-path tracks: including configuration of workflows, logic re-architecture, data migration, downstream reporting changes, SIT/UAT, and regression.
Proactively manage risks/issues (architecture gaps, capacity/skills constraints, requirement churn, data incompatibilities) with clear mitigations and timely escalations to SteerCo.
Ensure test readiness and quality: define entry/exit criteria, execute system testing and UAT with SMEs, and drive defect triage to closure ahead of cutover.
Coordinate enablement and go-live planning with stakeholder groups; deliver runbooks, communications, training assets, and a structured hypercare plan.
Maintain executive-ready reporting on status, milestones, decisions, and approvals; ensure alignment to the business case and endorsed design.
About you
Proven track record leading high‑impact technology stack projects end‑to‑end, from inception to handover to BAU teams.
Excellent planning, analysis, and with strong attention to detail and documentation.
Confident influencing at Director/VP level; skilled in cross‑functional stakeholder management and ability to work flexibility to US time-zones.
