GL Accountant

This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the Krakow Office (Fabryczna Street) a minimum of three days per week. The Basics: We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role will play a key part in supporting the Company’s close, reporting, and audit processes while helping drive operational excellence in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. What you’ll do: Prepare monthly journal entries and associated account reconciliations. Prepare and post monthly journal entries in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner. Prepare and analyze monthly flux and variance explanations for assigned accounts and areas, providing clear and concise insights to management. Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met in a high growth environment. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls, and assist with the implementation of enhancements. Assist with external audits, including preparation of audit schedules, support of audit requests, and coordination with internal stakeholders Support intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and eliminations, as applicable. Assist with ad hoc analyses, special projects, and process initiatives as assigned. We’re looking for someone with: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Experience with inter-company accounting; multi-currency and international experience a plus. Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to support broader team objectives. Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving, high growth environment.
