We are seeking a strategic commercial attorney to manage the legal aspects of partnerships essential for Uber’s growth. This position can be located in San Francisco or Washington, DC. **What You’ll Do:** - **Manage the Deal:** Manage the end-to-end legal lifecycle of partnership agreements, from initial drafting to final execution - **Be a Strategic Advisor:** Partner directly with business leaders, providing clear, actionable legal advice and risk analyses to drive business objectives. Deploy sound legal judgment while reviewing product features and programmatic initiatives to ensure that risk mitigation considerations are factored into operational decisions - **Pioneer New Solutions:** Design and implement innovative legal frameworks to scale our partnerships with transportation fleets, vehicle manufacturers, and technology providers - **Accelerate Mobility Growth:** Help expand access to Uber’s platform to new use cases and growth bets - **Collaborate and Innovate:** Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Business Development, Product, Operations, Employment, Regulatory, Safety and Privacy to provide comprehensive advice and create solutions that allow the business to move quickly and responsibly - **Build Foundational Tools:** Build out negotiation playbooks, templates, and other tools to help standardize and manage the team’s deal portfolio. **Basic Qualifications:** - 5+ years legal experience OR minimum 4+ years experience + 1 ye
