The Communications Business Partner is a newly created role within our growing Internal Communications team, designed to bring dedicated, strategic communications support to key departments such as HR, Finance and Sales. Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison, the Communications Business Partner will develop tailored communication strategies that align with departmental goals and broader organizational priorities.
This role plays a critical part in enhancing clarity, alignment, and engagement across the business by ensuring that communications are audience-focused, timely, and actionable. By working closely with department leads and subject matter experts, the Communications Business Partner helps shape messaging, optimize delivery, and amplify initiatives, ultimately improving understanding, adoption, and impact.
With a strong focus on collaboration, consultation, and execution, this role also reduces the communications burden on leaders by providing expert guidance, crafting communications, and ensuring alignment with internal standards and tone of voice. As part of a new and evolving function, the Communications Business Partner will contribute to building internal communications practices from the ground up, bringing a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to every partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with assigned departments to deeply understand their objectives, challenges, and priorities, translating these needs into effective, audience-specific communication strategies.
Develop, plan, and execute tailored communication campaigns and initiatives that drive employee engagement, adoption of key programs, and support change management efforts for smoother transitions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and stakeholders, offering expert counsel on tone, messaging, timing, and communication approaches to ensure clarity and impact.
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to create, review, and edit communication materials that align with the company’s broader communication strategy and brand voice.
Partner with the Internal Communications team to coordinate campaign delivery and ensure integration and alignment of messages across departments, markets, and teams.
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple markets and teams to foster collaboration, two-way communication, and alignment.
Provide measurement, feedback, and insights on communication effectiveness using data and employee feedback, adapting strategies to improve reach and engagement continuously.
Contribute to developing and evolving internal communication frameworks, tools, and processes as part of the growth of the new Internal Communications team
Key Qualifications Experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related advisory role, preferably supporting multiple departments or business units.
Proven ability to act as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, translating complex business needs into clear, impactful communication strategies.
