Software Engineer II - Frontend Department: Engineering Team: Backend Location: Bangalore, India Type: Full-Time **About the Role** Earner & Vehicles (E+V) presents the supply side of the marketplace, serving the needs of drivers, couriers and fleet operators (collectively called Earners - 7M+ globally and increasing everyday) and empowering them to improve their earnings and have a delightful experience on Uber as the largest Gig Platform globally. E+V India engineering is responsible for building products and solutions that power this experience, through their onboarding and operational journey. These include Earner's onboarding and compliance, online experience on the Earner App, progression & loyalty constructs and fleet management (including EV & AV fleets). As a part of AV Fleets team, you will be responsible for building a comprehensive platform that will enable end-to-end fleet operations including tracking, safety, operations & support management, etc. You'll be contributing in engineering excellence initiatives for those assets and maintaining operational health of the underlying systems/services in perfect health, ensuring high availability and reliability. You will be taking guidance from Staff & Sr Software Engs. You will collaborate with you peer partner engineers in sister teams and cross-functional stakeholders on delivering on your OKRs. **What You'll do:** 1. Design/architect, develop and/or test software applications using Uber's technology stack 2. Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex development/projects and provide recommendations to resolve complex technical issues; 3. You'll be very close to business concerns, working alongside Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and Operations team, to understand what's most important, and translating that to systems, designs, and code that best solves for today, as well as plans for tomorrow 4.
