IT/AV Events Manager II, IT
As the Events and Studio Manager on the AV team, you will play a crucial role in producing a wide range of events and studio projects, and leading a team of event technicians all over the globe. This dynamic position requires a combination of technical expertise and leadership, with a focus on delivering high-end productions for both live and in-person gatherings, as well as virtual broadcasts. You will help facilitate events that vary from intimate team meetings with basic video conferencing needs, to extensive multi-camera, multi-office, company-wide productions utilizing our internal streaming platform. Support for live TV broadcasts will also be in scope within this team from time to time with our executive staff. We are looking for a leader who is willing to continue to deliver innovative strategies, and to streamline the event and studio experience.
What you'll do:
Lead a global team of event technicians
Own every aspect of AV productions: from studio shoots, to company-wide broadcasts
Execute on end to end video production requests from internal stakeholders
Partner with our Internal comms, workplace events, and executive teams
Consistent collaboration with stakeholders on deliverables, timing, etc.
Level-up existing gear and production methodology
Work with our AV team and the company at large to refine the events function
Leverage Pinterest internal AI tools to create ‘how-to’ documentation for both user-facing and internal consumption
What we're looking for:
6+ years of AV/Event production and leadership in a corporate environment
Ability to lead and respond to changes in a short time frame; stay cool under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid understanding of soundboards, camera controllers, video switchers, streaming codecs, etc
Understanding of networking technology, video transmission over network and audio/video signal flow
Technical knowledge of editing, coloring, basic cinematography, and lighting techniques
Experience working with Crestron equipment, audio DSPs and Dante microphone systems
Experience with Ross products
Love of video production and everything that comes with live productions
Bonus points if you have an InfoComm CTS certification
Familiarity with various AI tools for agent creation, streamlining existing processes
Bachelor’s degree in broadcast, film, digital audio technology, a related field or equivalent experience
