We are seeking a Staff Developer on our Growth Team, focused on building net-new self-serve experiences, evolving the underlying systems and integrations that power Product Growth, and driving rapid experimentation and feedback loops across our expanding B2B product suites. You’ll serve as the technical DRI for new growth capabilities, owning architectural decisions and ensuring cohesive execution across teams. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: - 8+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment. - Hands-on experience building and evolving experimentation platforms (feature flagging systems, A/B frameworks, event pipelines, analytics integrations). - Proven ability to design scalable instrumentation strategies and ensure high data integrity across complex product surfaces. - Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives that span frontend, backend, and data systems. - Proficiency in Go. - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives and influence engineering direction beyond your immediate team. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align engineering, product, and data stakeholders around complex technical decisions. What you can expect: - Play a foundational role in shaping how Product Growth operates across 1Password’s enterprise offerings. - Identify and drive platform-level improvements that enable consistent experimentation capabilities across multiple product surfaces. - Partner with product, design, and data leaders to ensure experiments are technically sound and strategically aligned. - Establish guardrails and best practices to ensure experimentation velocity does not compromise performance, reliability, security, or data integrity. - Mentor engineers and contribute to leveling up experimentation fluency across the organization. - Influence roadmap decisions by grounding strategy in technical constraints and opportunity analysis. - Maintain hands-on involvement in implementation work where architectural depth is required. Bonus points for: - Experience scaling product-led growth in a B2B SaaS organization. - Experience designing experimentation systems in compliance or security-sensitive environments. - Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, Qualtrics).
