We’re looking for a Director, Product Management Onboarding & Activations to lead the strategy and execution of the systems that power enterprise deployment and secure activation at scale. This leader will own not only onboarding and activation outcomes, but also the platform architecture and infrastructure that enables secure rollout across complex enterprise environments. You will define and enable how 1Password: - Integrates with customer Identity Providers (IdPs) - Scales provisioning and policy enforcement - Establishes device and user trust - Supports enterprise-grade directory and authentication architectures - Delivers seamless time-to-value in identity-centric deployments This role sits at the intersection of Identity, Platform, Security, and Enterprise Deployment and directly influences retention, expansion, and long-term platform durability. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What you will own: PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE FOR ENTERPRISE DEPLOYMENT - Partner with Engineering to evolve the underlying platform architecture that supports: Scalable onboarding, High-volume provisioning, Policy orchestration, and Enterprise-grade reliability - Drive architectural decisions that balance: Flexibility for enterprise customization, simplicity in admin configuration, and security-first design principles - Influence multi-product platform integration across Password Manager and Extended Access Management capabilities. - Ensure onboarding workflows are supported by durable backend systems—not just surface-level UX improvements. ACTIVATION & TIME-TO-VALUE (IDENTITY-LED ONBOARDING) - Redefine onboarding as an identity-first deployment motion. - Improve critical activation flows for both admins and end users: IdP & Directory connection setup, Device trust establishment, Policy enforcement configuration, user activation across endpoint, browser, and mobile. - Define activation milestones tied to: user activation, admin engagement, device/extension coverage, and user engagement - Instrument onboarding funnels with deep telemetry to identify friction in identity and provisioning workflows. - Partner with Data to build dashboards tracking identity health and deployment maturity. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PLATFORM LEADERSHIP - Work closely with: Platform Engineering (identity infrastructure, authentication services), Security Architecture, Customer Success & Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering (complex enterprise deployments), and Design (admin and security experiences) - Influence multi-year roadmap planning f ...
