INTERNSHIPS @ WEALTHSIMPLE At Wealthsimple, we offer 4 to 8-month internships that are open to co-op and non-co-op students, and recent grads. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that are changing the landscape of financial services for Canadians. Our internship program follows a hybrid work model,where you’ll be working from our Toronto headquarters on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This structure offers the flexibility of remote work, while also providing the collaboration, connection, and mentorship that come from being together in person. Eligibility ✔ Currently enrolled as a student at a Canadian post-secondary institution or technical bootcamp ✔ New graduates - Within 6 months of your graduation date ✔ Available to work full-time hours ✔ Residing in Canada ✔ Able to commute to our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays About the Role We're hiring an Influencer and User-Generated Content (UGC) Marketing Intern for an 8-month internship to support Wealthsimple's growing creator partnerships program. This role is focused on the day-to-day execution of our creator pipeline — sourcing creators, managing outreach, and helping move partnerships from first contact through to go-live. You will play a hands-on role in keeping campaigns and creator relationships on track. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and excited to get real experience in the creator economy. In This Role, You'll Have the Opportunity To: - Source and identify creators across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) that align with Wealthsimple's brand, audience, and campaign goals - Own outreach to prospective creator partners — crafting personalized messages and managing responses - Manage creator relationships through the pipeline, keeping conversations moving and flagging updates to the manager - Provide first-line support to our creator partners — helping troubleshoot issues with campaign logistics - Help execute campaigns end-to-end once briefed — keeping creators on schedule and deliverables on track - Maintain and organize our creator database, tracking outreach status, pipeline stage, and partnership details - Suggest improvements to outreach, workflows, or creator experience based on what you're seeing day-to-day What You'll Bring: - Highly organized with strong attention to detail, you can manage a busy creator pipeline without things falling through the cracks - A natural communicator with a warm, professional tone, comfortable reaching out cold and building rapport quickly - Self-directed and proactive, you follow up and stay on top of deadlines - Excited to learn about the creator economy and what makes brand-creator partnerships work - Familiar with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and have a sense for what good creator content looks like - Comfortable using AI tools (like ChatGPT or Claude) to speed up research, drafting, and workflow tasks - Collaborative and empathetic, great at working with both internal teammates and external partners Bonus points: you're a creator yourself!
