About the opportunity The Implementation Consultant is responsible for all phases of a new client coming onto Dayforce or an existing client upgrading to a new Dayforce processing product. This position provides clients with effective solutions that are aligned to our commitment of reliable, repeatable and quality implementation practices. Duties of the position include the initial needs assessment, support, coordinating, providing related training specific to client solution, auditing of solutions, and the successful transfer to our clients. What you'll get to do Effectively plan and manage a workload Validate and input all data received to agreed deadlines Check data and make all relevant corrections before the live run of payrolls/services Ensure all tasks associated with payrolls or implementations are performed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Communicate effectively to customers (internal & external) on an appropriate basis Manage implementations that vary in nature based on solution purchased and complexity of requirements. Contribute to timelines and ensure each project is on time, meets and/or exceeds client expectations and follows internal processes Work in conjunction with resources within and outside of the team in the completion of an implementation Promote teamwork among those working on the implementation, developing a working relationship with internal resources, customers, and peers Work independently at resolving project issues and escalating when appropriate. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Payroll/ HR environment as well as an exposure to many sub-functions within it. E.g. Finance, benefits administration, labor relations, training development, and technical environments Conduct preliminary interviews with client to review changes, needs and processes to complete the implementation successfully using formal needs analysis, gap, and fit analysis Ensure timelines and project plan dates are met Translate business process requirements into configuration requirements for the Dayforce Solution purchased with differing levels of complexity. Prepare customers for completion of an implementation Review processes with client pertaining to product. Work with the client to process pre-input reports, run interfaces and time & attendance imports Provide hands-on training to customers with the input of the first live payroll Review Service checklist to ensure client understands how to enter payroll items not covered during live inputs Solve problems that are often unprecedented and may require analytical skills and detailed problem determination to provide the appropriate resolution, coordination and implementation of customized front end and/or core end solutions Ensure a high quality of implementation. Assess quality by reviewing the testing of all back-end changes implemented, verifying ID and password information after installation, and confirming correct billing and remittance set-ups Skills and Experience we value Experience working in a high volume-based payroll operations environment Payroll Experience or ability to take NPI (Canadian Payroll Association) Payroll Courses Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills using a variety of media dependent on the si ...
