Director of Sales Development
Confido is the AI infrastructure powering CPG brands from deduction to production plan. We unify cash application, deductions, disputes, trade promotion management, forecasting, demand planning, and analytics in one integrated platform. We’ve achieved best-in-class growth and recently raised a $15M Series A led by Footwork Ventures and Y Combinator to accelerate our momentum.
Today, we sell 2 products: (1) an accounting automation product that helps brands automate more than 1 million transactions a year and (2) a forecasting product that helps brands forecast more than $1B in retail sales.
Confido will grow more than 4x this year, while growing headcount by 2x. Our SDR team will be the engine behind this growth - generating leads with empathy, intelligence and grit while gaining the skills necessary to be a key source of talent for Account Executive and other roles throughout the business
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Team Leadership, Coaching and Mentorship: Hire, onboard and manage a team of Sales Development Reps. Maintain strict standards of execution and accountability while preparing your team for their future
- Pipeline Generation: Hit and exceed team-wide pipeline targets by building and managing scalable outreach programs
- Hands-on contribution: Roll up sleeves and carry an individual pipeline goal to serve as an example for your team
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Relevant experience: 4+ years in B2B sales or sales development with at least 2 years of management
- Outbound excellence: Proven ability to hit pipeline targets in a startup environment
- Passion for coaching and development: You derive energy from coaching and have a track record of successful performance management. Your direct reports win and get promoted
- Demonstrated closing success: At least one year of successful closing experience
- A builder: You have successfully built outbound programs from scratch
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- $160K - $180K base salary + uncapped commission → $225K - $250K OTE
- 0.1 - 0.3% equity
- Fully paid healthcare
- Based full time in our NYC office with regular travel
