Title and Summary Senior Research Analyst Overview The Advisors Research Center (ARC) is a new and rapidly growing capability designed to meet the evolving needs of clients for high-quality research support. Its core mission is to deliver value through the development of insights and actionable recommendations. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Market Researcher to join our European team, based in Lisbon. Role Responsibilities 3–5 years of hands-on experience in primary research, including: Quantitative techniques: survey design, data collection, and analysis Qualitative techniques: designing and conducting in-depth interviews, focus groups, online forums, etc. Experience gained in a research agency or consulting environment Ideally, experience conducting research in banking, payments, financial services, digital technology, or related industries Ability to synthesize and analyze information from multiple sources to create insightful presentations Familiarity with qualitative/quantitative research tools for operations and analysis is a plus Strong business writing skills and ability to create client-ready materials Excellent communication skills All About You Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; a relevant Master’s degree is desirable Proven experience across a range of research projects Languages: English required; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
