Role Summary As the Marketing Associate, you will play a central role in shaping how ALX shows up across social platforms. You will create content that captures attention, drives engagement, and contributes directly to learner growth. This is a creator-led role. You will operate at the intersection of content creation, social media, and growth marketing. You will be expected to generate ideas, produce content at speed, and experiment continuously to identify what resonates with young audiences. You will have the autonomy to test formats, trends, and narratives, using data to refine and scale what works. Specific Responsibilities Content Creation and Storytelling Create high-quality, social-first content across platforms, with a strong focus on short-form video (TikTok, Reels). Attend events, activations, and community moments to capture real-time, authentic content. Independently shoot, edit, and publish content using mobile and desktop tools. Translate learner stories and ALX experiences into compelling narratives that resonate with young audiences. Produce content consistently, with the ability to generate, create, and publish multiple pieces of content each week. Social Media Growth and Engagement Take ownership of the day-to-day execution of ALX’s social media presence, contributing to tone, content style, and audience engagement in alignment with the Marketing Manager’s direction. Execute day-to-day activity across social platforms, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and quality.
