Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. While PMP certification is desirable, it is not mandatory. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on delivering results in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives. - Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to define project goals and deliverables. - Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing risks, issues, and opportunities proactively. - Facilitate regular status meetings and provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders and senior leadership. - Ensure seamless communication between all project participants by leveraging fluency in English and Spanish. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and best practices. - Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure project success and cost efficiency. - Mentor and guide junior project managers or team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business, IT or related field) or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex, cross‑functional projects, including responsibility for schedule, scope, budget and quality. Experience with technology or services projects is preferred. - PMP certification is desirable but not required. - Fluency in **English and Spanish** (spoken and written) is mandatory. - Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, project tracking applications Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, Jira, etc.). - Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs. - Experience in managing global or cross-cultural teams is a plus. Desired Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and influence decision-making. - Experience managing projects in optical technologies telecom/networking/technology or similar complex technical environment. - Familiarity with financial management and budgeting for large-scale projects.
