<p><strong>About the </strong><strong>Senior Financial Analyst, D2C </strong><strong>at Headspace:</strong></p> <p><em>Headspace is seeking a strategic and analytically driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team, with dedicated focus on our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business. This role will partner closely with Marketing, Product, Data, Accounting, and cross-functional business leaders to drive deep financial insights, accurate forecasting, and performance reporting that directly influence decision-making and growth strategy.</em></p> <p><em>The ideal candidate is passionate about financial planning & analysis, thrives in a high-growth, cross-functional environment, and is eager to build modern frameworks and processes that increase clarity and impact across the D2C business.</em></p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Independently maintain and evolve forecasting models that connect bookings, revenue recognition, and collections across D2C. Collaborate with cross-functional partners, Accounting, and FP&A to support budgeting, business updates, and re-forecasting cycles.</li> <li>Perform monthly variance analysis for revenue, bookings, and cash flow—translating findings into executive-ready narratives that highlight risks, performance drivers, and strategic recommendations.</li> <li>Improve data accuracy, processes, and workflows to streamline forecasting and reporting.</li> <li>Drive strategic insights and operational alignment between Finance and business partners, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.</li> <li>Maintain and evolve subscription model that supports revenue forecasting, scenario planning, and the annual planning process.</li> <li>Build and automate recurring dashboards covering key metrics such as bookings, subscriptions, lifetime value (LTV), customer acquisition cost (CAC), churn, and other performance indicators.</li> <li>Support pricing decisions, promotional analysis, experiment evaluation, and investment prioritization.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will bring</strong>:</p> <p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of financial analysis and budgeting experience, including revenue and cash planning within D2C. </li> <li>Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. </li> <li>Deep understanding of financial principles, including bookings, revenue and cash flow forecasting</li> <li>Experience in subscription modeling.</li> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to senior management with confidence, conviction, and credibility.</li> <li>A self-starter who demonstrates initiative in shaping financial insights and improving forecasting frameworks across the business.</li> <li>Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into the weeds to problem solve.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field</li> <li>Advanced Excel modeling skills</li> <li>Experience with Healthcare/ Mental Health/ Wellness industries</li> <li>Familiarity with Adaptive Insights</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location: </strong></p> <p><strong>We are currently hiring this role remotely in the US and Hybrid for San Francisco (SF).
