Financial Analyst We're looking for a RD Financial Analyst to be a dedicated partner for our global Engineering and Product teams. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for managing business unit expenses, headcount, and helping us make smart, data-driven decisions that fuel company growth. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering and Product leadership to provide the key takeaways and financial insights they need in order to maximize the impact of Ping’s ongoing RD investments. You will: Own the monthly forecast and annual planning: Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for RD headcount and spend, ensuring plans reflect company strategy and investment priorities. Maintain forecast integrity: Ensure RD forecasts remain current, well-documented, and internally consistent as hiring plans and spending assumptions evolve. Partner closely with RD leadership: Serve as the primary finance partner to RD leaders, supporting headcount planning, investment decisions, and day-to-day financial questions. Support ad hoc and scenario analysis: Build flexible analyses and scenarios to answer evolving business questions, assess tradeoffs, and support decision-making across RD. Improve processes and systems: Drive reporting consistency and simplification, leveraging Anaplan and provisioned corporate AI tools to build a scalable, single source of truth for RD headcount and financials. You have: You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on expenses and headcount. A strong accounting foundation, with hands-on experience in managing accruals and expense recognition. Experience with budget vs. actual reconciliation, financial reporting and forecasting Proficient in Excel with hands-on experience building and enhancing financial models You have an advantage if: Experience in SaaS business models, metrics, and financial drivers Experience using Anaplan, Netsuite, and/or Salesforce Experience using corporate AI tools Salary Range: $80K-$90K In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
