Being an Insurance Expert at Alan in Canada means: - Being part of a small and talented team currently working on building the Alan experience in Canada. Contributing to defining the product strategy that addresses the unique needs of the Canadian market, supporting our targets in terms of growth (>100% yoy), member satisfaction (>4.65/5), and overall positioning as a health partner. - Contributing to building the Insurance infrastructure from scratch, within the health and life lines of business, including: offer strategy, coverage and pricing, insurance conditions, renewal strategy, tooling and processes, etc. - Sharing knowledge and training the team. - Being part of an insurance community at the global level, with an impact on our organization, hiring and training across multiple countries. ⭐️ IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR? ⭐️ You may be a great fit for the role if: - You are a fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries - You have at least 3+ years of experience in health insurance or life & disability insurance - You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data, business and legal questions into actionable outputs. - You have knowledge of the trends from the sector, of the pricing/repricing business decisions and market practices - You have a builder mindset, continuously identifying opportunities to scale and optimize processes a ...
