As a Ping Identity SRE, you will be involved in every facet of our On-Demand SaaS services and will build, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure of one of the largest identity platforms in the world. We follow a DevOps model: our teams are integrated with development teams, and running continuous deployments daily, and SREs are expected to provide input in the product's design, development, deployment, and operations. Working within the Cloud Operations team, you'll build automated infrastructure and deployment processes. You'll be the expert on operational excellence and how systems can be built to be; redundant, scalable, and observable. You will: Build via code and maintain our production infrastructure hosted on AWS. Create pipelines to deploy and manage global infrastructure. Analyze complex system behavior, performance and application issues. Develop observability, alerts and runbooks Develop, maintain and administer modern infrastructure deployment tools. Linux systems administration, configuration, troubleshooting and automation. Capacity analysis and planning, traffic routing, and security policies for Ping's market leading Single Sign-On SaaS applications. Mentor team members and take leads on major initiatives or projects. Proactively identifies and solves technology-related bottlenecks. Demonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains. Documents and shares knowledge within your organization You have: Overall 4 to 6 years of experience on SRE/DevOps. At Least 2 years of experience on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with cloud services in Azure (e.g., deployments, networking, security) Proficient in AI/ML tooling (Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.), with experience in agentic creation. 2+ years experience with Linux/UNIX systems administration. Solid experience provisioning public cloud resources using frameworks such as CloudFormation and Terraform. Experience with technologies like Apache Kafka, Redis, Elasticache etc.. Hands-on experience with Containers/Orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes). Experience with server configuration with Puppet/Chef/Salt. Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Argo CD, etc. Experience with automation platforms such as Jenkins and Artifactory Knowledge of Relational Database and NoSQL Database. Experience with security design principles. Solid scripting skills (Python/Ruby/Bash/Go/etc.). Networking experience in large cloud environments Experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment.
