We are scaling out the Auth, Users, Roles and Audit capabilities of Verkada's core products to service the largest organizations in the world. </p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design scalable control planes and data primitives for all Verkada products</li> <li>Build scalable distributed systems capable of handling high traffic from hundreds of thousands of devices deployed around the world.</li> <li>Spin up new services in a microservices architecture</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering</li> <li>4+ years of relevant industry experience</li> <li>Experience in building and scaling access systems to millions of users around the world</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Mastery of at least one of Python or Go</li> <li>Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL)</li> <li>Experience with key-value storage systems (Redis, Memcached)</li> <li>Experience with distributed queueing (Kafka) and caching (Redis, Memcached)</li> <li>Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)</li> <li>Experience with React</li> <li>Experience with GRPC and API specifications</li> <li>Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week</li> </ul> <h3><strong>US Employee Benefits</strong></h3> <p>Verkada is committed to fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes the holistic health and wellbeing of our employees and their families by offering comprehensive wellness perks, benefits, and resources.
