Netflix is seeking a Creative Assistant to provide support for our Casting team in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgment and significant initiative.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a heavy calendar for executive, including booking and confirming meetings & calls, both internally & externally
Managing and tracking the flow of incoming and outgoing creative materials
Maintain internal systems to track projects and their statuses
Taking notes in meetings and circulating information to the greater team
Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) and related administrative duties (i.e. processing travel and expense reports, tracking travel visa needs, digital and physical filing, etc...)
Heavy email and phone communication internally and externally
Create various documents using Google Suite
Assist with team projects and events as needed
Capturing, drafting, and editing creative notes
Covering scripts and tracking actors, writers, directors and projects
Participating in team meetings
Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree
Minimum 2+ years as an assistant in the entertainment industry
Experience in casting and/or management/studio/network/agency is strongly preferred or a strong interest in casting
Deep passion for and knowledge of actors
Wide awareness of pop culture / entertainment trends
Team player who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
Understanding of how to prioritize various tasks and respond accordingly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Google Suite is strongly preferred
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $33.65 - $54.33.
