Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.What You Will Be Doing:You will lead and support a team of Engineering Technicians who play a critical role in Helion’s mechanical engineering development efforts. In this role, you will manage daily operations, prioritize technician workloads, and ensure safe, high-quality execution of system build and test activities. This is an onsite role based at our Everett, WA campus, reporting to one of our Production Managers.You Will:Drive rapid hardware development by deeply understanding design challenges and identifying opportunities to solve them through build, test, and iterationPartner closely with engineers, technicians, fabricators, and managers to execute complex mechanical systems development and testingMentor and develop technicians, reinforcing best practices and continuously raising technical standards and execution qualityPlan and coordinate daily technician activities, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoringEnsure strict compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including radiation protection and environmental standardsEstablish and maintain quality control practices that meet or exceed industry standardsMaintain accurate documentation related to operations, inventory, and equipment maintenanceRequired Skills:5+ years of experience leading technical teams, including task assignment, performance management, and adherence to operational and design standardsDemonstrated ability to motivate teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersHands-on experience building, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment#LI-OnsiteBenefitsOur total compensation package includes benefits, including but not limited to:• Medical, Dental, and Vision plans for employees and their families • 31 Days of PTO (21 vacation days and 10 sick days) • 10 Paid holidays, plus company-wide winter break • Up to 5% employer 401(k) match • Short term disability, long term disability, and life insurance • Paid parental leave and support (up to 16 weeks) • Annual wellness stipendHelion is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
