Please don't apply if you're looking for freelance work.You'll be the first dedicated motion designer at LiveFlow, owning how our products move — the micro-interactions, transitions, loading states, and animated moments that make complex financial workflows feel simple, intuitive, and joyful. This is a foundational role. You'll define our motion language from scratch, build the system engineers use to implement it, and work alongside product designers and engineers to ship animations that makes users love our products even more. You'll have real ownership and direct impact on how thousands of finance teams interact with our products every day.What You'll DoDesign UI animations, micro-interactions, and transitions across our productsCreate loading states, onboarding flows, and moments of delight that elevate the product experienceBuild our motion design system — defining principles for timing, easing, and movement that scale consistently across the productCollaborate with product designers and engineers, and get into the codebase yourself to implement animations in productionBridge the gap between design and engineering — you're as comfortable in Lottie, Rive, or Framer Motion as you are in FigmaWhat We're Looking For3-5+ years of professional experience in motion design with meaningful product/UI animation workStrong portfolio showing shipped product animationsProficiency with Figma and prototyping motion within design workflowsComfort working in code — whether that's CSS animations, Framer Motion, Lottie, Rive, or similarDeep understanding of animation principles and how they translate to product interfacesSelf-directed and comfortable owning a discipline independently while collaborating closely with design and engineeringNice to HaveExperience producing video content, motion graphics, or brand animation3D skills (Cinema 4D, Blender) for product visualizationsExperience in fintech, accounting software, or B2B SaaSExperience building or contributing to a motion design systemLocationThis role can be based anywhere in Europe (remotely) and in the UK; If you're in London, you can work from our London office.
