Title and Summary Senior Security Logging & Monitoring Compliance Analyst Overview The Security Event Management Compliance (SEMC) team is looking for a Security Logging Compliance Specialist to support Mastercard’s Controls Monitoring Portal (CMP) and Security Logging Resiliency (SLR) initiatives. This role ensures enterprise systems adhere to PCI logging standards and Mastercard’s Security Logging & Monitoring Technical Standard by coordinating the onboarding of technical assets into CMP, managing Security Monitoring Template (SMT) submissions, and driving remediation of logging gaps identified in Splunk audits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and thrives in a cross-functional environment. ________________________________________ Role In this role, you will: • Lead enterprise security logging and monitoring governance aligned to regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR). • Own logging standards, onboarding, validation, and audit readiness across applications, infrastructure, databases, and security platforms. • Define baseline audit logging requirements and ensure consistent normalization, enrichment, and data quality. • Act as a subject matter expert for Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, including ingestion, parsing, indexing, and retention. • Perform regular health and resiliency reviews of logging pipelines and drive issue remediation. • Support SOC and incident response teams with reliable, enriched log data and improved visibility. • Partner with audit, risk, compliance, and engineering teams to address gaps and prepare audit evidence. • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in secure logging and data governance. ________________________________________ All About You The ideal candidate for this position should: • Strong experience with enterprise security logging and monitoring in regulated environments. • Hands‑on expertise with Splunk and/or Microsoft Sentinel. • Knowledge of audit logging requirements, retention strategies, and data quality controls. • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical logging standards. • Experience supporting SOC operations, investigations, and audits. • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
