About the opportunity We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer Intern to join our dynamic team in Mauritius. As a Soft Dev Intern, you will gain practical experience in software development by working closely with our seasoned software engineers and development teams. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the tech industry and exposure to cutting-edge technologies. What you’ll get to do Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test software applications and solutions. Assist in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting software issues to ensure smooth functionality. Participate in the development and enhancement of existing software products. Support the team in the implementation of software best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver quality results. Skills and experience we value Currently enrolled or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field. Solid understanding of programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks) is a plus. Smart and driven individual who is passionate about learning new technologies and working in a tech environment. Strong academic performance in courses regarding programming languages, algorithms, data structures, computer organization, and discrete mathematics. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
