SNC is seeking a Flight Sciences Engineering Manager to lead and support a growing team of engineers within the fields of mass properties, aerodynamics, loads, flutter, flight dynamics, thermal and more.
As an Engineering Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to manage functional teams through program execution for our products and services. These cover a very wide range of groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow. You will represent the engineering flight sciences disciplines at all management level meetings. You will own and continuously improve processes and procedures, oversee training of staff and provide technical direction as required. As the Flight Sciences Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of improvement and development within our engineering organization. You will work closely with the program engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and help develop and implement solutions. Responsibilities Include:
Manage a team of engineers across the flight sciences disciplines deployed across programs at IAS.
Program staffing – coordinate with multiple program teams to ensure the teams are set up for successful program execution
People – Flight Sciences Engineering Hiring, Resource Management, Professional Development, Development Action Plans, Mentoring, and Training
