The Crypto Engineering team builds and operates systems that support secure, scalable, and reliable digital asset products for millions of customers. The team focuses on blockchain integrations, transaction processing, custody systems, and platform reliability, partnering closely with Engineering and Product to improve system performance and resilience.
As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex technical programs across crypto infrastructure, including blockchain integrations, transaction systems, observability, and automation. You will translate platform strategy into clear execution plans, align senior stakeholders, and improve how teams plan and deliver large-scale systems. Your work will support the stability, security, and continued growth of Robinhood’s crypto platform!
This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
● Lead large-scale technical programs from early design through delivery, launch, and operational readiness across crypto infrastructure systems ● Define program milestones, track progress against timelines, and report on risks and dependencies with clear mitigation plans ● Partner with engineering, security, compliance, and product teams to align on requirements and ensure readiness for launches ● Improve program execution by establishing clear processes, documentation standards, and operating rhythms ● Use data to monitor system performance and ensure programs meet reliability, security, and scalability targets
What you bring
● 7+ years of experience leading complex technical or engineering programs in large-scale, fast-moving environments ● Strong technical fluency, including the ability to understand system architecture, evaluate design tradeoffs, and partner closely with senior engineers ● Demonstrated ability to bring structure and measurable outcomes to ambiguous problem spaces ● Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders ● Experience supporting or working with large-scale distributed systems
