Sales Engineer

We’re looking for candidates with a strong background in Java engineering who are interested in transitioning into a more client-facing role. In this position, you’ll support the sales process from a technical perspective, working closely with prospective clients to understand their requirements and demonstrate our solution. The Enterprise Technical Sales Engineer Role If you’re a software developer who enjoys working with customers and shaping technical solutions in a commercial setting, this could be the ideal role for you. As an Enterprise Technical Sales Engineer at Send, you’ll act as the technical bridge between our product and prospective clients in the commercial insurance market. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in software development - particularly in Java - who can engage confidently in the sales process and help translate complex technical concepts into real business value for insurers. Working closely with our sales team, you’ll provide deep technical expertise throughout the pre-sales process. This includes building and maintaining demo environments, developing tailored client demonstrations, and helping to qualify and solve complex technical requirements. Your development experience will allow you to go beyond surface-level demos, getting hands-on with the platform and showing how Send’s technology works under the hood. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams across the UK and the US, helping shape how our platform is presented to enterprise insurers and ensuring our solutions meet real-world technical needs. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies in a microservices architecture while helping to scale Send’s presence in the US market.
